Location: Koulouri Square, Gazohori
It began from an anthropological and experiential research-study of the Gazohori area. The title “I beg you not to tear down my world,” came from the graffiti of a child written in the local Turkish dialect. Our goal was the involvement in community life, the understanding of its dynamics as well as the understanding of how the capital penetration affects daily life.
On June 21, 2005, in the central square, a musical performance was organized by the residents themselves. At the same time, through actions, the study was presented which was carried out by different groups of residents such as children, women as well as a map-game constructed in the empty space next to the main square, through which is recorded the transformation of the area through time.
The action was inspired and organized by Pagona Zali and Eleni Tzirtzilaki. Also artists, architects and residents of Gazohori participated
